Thinking of writing a book?

Don’t start with a topic.

Start with your audience.

This might surprise you, but here’s the truth:

You’re not writing your book for everyone.
You’re writing it for someone.
A very specific someone.

Before you choose your topic,
outline chapters,
or decide on a title,
ask yourself:
“Who am I writing this book for?”

Because once you know your audience,
understanding what they need
and what your book should deliver
becomes much easier.

Here’s how to identify your audience:

Look at your current clients, followers, or students.
Who gets the most value from your work?
Who keeps coming back?

Revisit your past content.
Which blog posts, podcast episodes, or talks got the most engagement? ↳That’s a clue.

Think about the transformation you help people achieve.
Who needs that transformation the most?
That’s your reader.

You don’t find your book idea first. You find your reader.
The right idea will follow.

Are you clear on who your audience is?
If not, I can help you figure it out before you write a single word.
